There it goes. I think it was Mike Malone that revealed that. Definitely sad. Crazy he was coaching thru that.

BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has agreed to a three-year, $186 million maximum contract extension, league sources tell
@TheAthletic

@Stadium
.
Damn!! Giannis got that bag. I'll eat my crow on him not re-signing there. Let's see if he finishes out that deal in Milwaukee tho. NBA players' new motto is get the money, you can always deal with where you're playing later.

If they can manage to win a title or two, then I see no reason for Giannis, Damian, Khris, & Brook to break up this group.

Obviously, all of that is contingent on them winning another Larry O'Brien trophy. And - at least with Khris & Brock - if their games and bodies can continue to hold up as they head into their twilight years.

And if that happens, Giannis can opt out early on this extension and sign
for even bigger Bucks.( pun intended)

Giannis said before he signed his first big contract that loyalty is in his DNA. Thank to Windy and Simmons for fanning the flames to get big market teams excited for nothing.

It's not for nothing honestly. There's a dude literally on the Bucks right now that signed a MASSIVE contract extension with another team a year ago. Unlikely he wants to leave? I'd say so. A lock that he doesn't cause he signed a deal? Absolutely not as recent NBA history has shown us.

I'm not saying he is a lock because he signed a big a deal. If the Bucks show no interest in aiming for a title, he may leave. Portland showed Dame they were rebuilding after signing his big deal.

He has shown loyalty for staying in Milwaukee and that is something that no other superstar has shown over the years to stay in Milwaukee. Bucks owners and admin need to show the same loyalty to Giannis to continue to win for championships.

It's time to enjoy the ride as Bucks fans for as long as we can.
