Perhaps to force the situation to a conclusion, the Nets yesterday increased their courtship of Memphis free agent power forward Stromile Swift. But after the Nets received assurances from Abdur-Rahim that he wanted to play in New Jersey, Swift signed with Houston. The Nets' third power-forward option, Dontyell Marshall, agreed to terms with Cleveland.

Wow. Fills a need for a shooter, and gives us some flexibility in case Gooden bolts for big money next year. I like it. Funny, as soon as I saw this title, I knew it was us.

HOLY!! How the heck didn't anyone not see this? I personally thought he would have taken a jump on that NJ boat. This season is clearly a big one. The Cavs are now a bigger force in the East though not the biggest. I wonder if they go to the playoffs and make big waves this season? Oh my goodness. Didn't see this one coming at all....

I like this signing for CLE. 1st class professional, good shooter, and pretty decent rebounder. I hope he starts over Gooden

BTW, Cavs make the playoffs now

Good signing by the Cavs, brings vet leadership and a nice outside shooter. Whether he starts or becomes the 6th man; he or Gooden will bring a nice boost of that bench.
