Didn't the Spurs want Regrette before they wanted Mason Jr.? Same thing with the Hornets? I was scratching my head as to why the hell Regrette would turn down two of the best teams in the entire league..

Well, if he thinks like he plays. He probably would chose money over a championship.

Re: W's regret signing Maggs?

Theres a rather big difference between mid-level exception and 5 years 50 million dollars. I really dont understand why they're so pissed at him he was signed to drive to the hole and score which he's done. If theres one guy in the league you should know what your getting when you get him its Maggette he's only been doing this for 10 seasons. Granted he started out slow with his % but judging by his past years that'll probably end up working itself out to where he's always been which is around 44% from the floor and around 33ish from 3. But hey if they wanna dump him already the Heat have a great small forward who would fit in with the Warriors perfectly.

LOL, I just saw this article that was written on Sunday:

Jackson to have MRI exam on sore non-shooting hand

Bryan Chu, Special to The Chronicle

Sunday, December 7, 2008

(12-07) 04:00 PST San Antonio --

For almost two weeks, Stephen Jackson has been feeling so much pain in his left hand that it has affected his ball-handling.

It's gotten so bad he will have an MRI exam today.

"Not good at all. Not good at all," said Jackson, describing the pain from his index to ring fingers.

"I think this is the worst one because it's dealing with my hands. Any time I get hit on it, I get affected by it the rest of the game."

A hit came in the second quarter of Saturday's 123-88 loss to the Spurs. It was on a pick-and-roll, causing Jackson, who played 14 minutes and scored six points, to sit out the second half.

"It's not a jammed-finger kind of pain," he said. "I'm already playing with one broken bone in my foot. I don't think I can deal with two."

He added: "I don't want to hurt my team or hurt myself. Like I said, I want to figure if there's something wrong because I definitely think so."

The Warriors will practice in San Antonio today in preparation for Monday's game at Oklahoma City.

Second thoughts? Corey Maggette admitted he's thought twice of his offseason decision to sign with the Warriors instead of the Spurs.

"I've thought about that all the time," said Maggette, who scored six points on 1-for-10 shooting. "I love all the people here (in San Antonio). I like the organization, (Spurs coach) Gregg Popovich. I'm really good friends with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. They really supported me coming up.

"If it was any other way, I would've been here [San Antonio]."

Maggette turned down the Spurs' multiple-year deal starting at $5.8 million annually for the Warriors' five year, $50 million offer.

Heh, so Corey Maggette is basically implying that his decision to sign with the Warriors was all about the money.

By the way, the Magic wanted him too before he had taken too long to make a decision. Then Orlando went in another direction and signed Mikhael Pietrus.
