From all of the evidence that's out there, I'd say the owner, coach, and two players all had equal share in that team's demise.
When I say that I put a lil more blame on him was cause of that finals against the Pistons. In my opinion that was the final straw for that TEAM to still play together. And most of the guys on that team and the coach put blame on Kobe for that finals. But I can see where you coming from.

I never said you said any of that. I'm saying that stuff. I was actually responding to Ex, originally.

Then I went to give him props and credit in saying there is a difference in the Kobe THEN and the Kobe NOW. Never once did I say he was interchangable or that what he was doing now is selfish. In fact I said what he was doing now is the OPPOSITE of what he did in that finals.
When you say stuff like that, well one can only infer you're placing more blame on him. I don't see where you said he wasn't the only person.. my mistake if you said that somewhere else in the thread.

Also there's no point in comparing then and now, because it's clear as day he has changed.

I'm simply talking about the Shaq/Kobe years. There was plenty of blame to go around for a number of individuals.

Of course in their Finals loss, Kobe played like KoMe. That's also clear as day. That was a part of the demise.

You can only have one alpha male in a group. When there's two, then what happened is inevitable, period. McGrady, not alpha, Wade, not alpha. You build around one alpha player and then get great others to join in. Sometimes you can have two alphas but not for long before there's a struggle. been there, done that myself.

Especially when one of those alphas is the most selfish player in the league.

Now they've put another team around him to carry him to the Finals, so he can suck it up again.

Now that Bynum is down, you'll see that KoME returns to his selfish ways. He hasn't changed.
put lbj on those teams 8 straight chips

Even before the league age minimum was raised, he would have been too young at the time.

Yeah I did say it. it was the sentence two before the one you highlighted. It said EVERYBODY was sick of each other. So I put some blame on EVERYBODY.

I compared them to then and now cause of the statement/question that was asked. I was aslo comparing them then and now to say that it might could have lasted longer if Kobe has the same attitude/approach that he has now.

That finals loss is why I said I put a lil more blame on Kobe. If he would have played the way they did in their previous finals and went through Shaq they would have won. Had they won it would have been harder to break that team up and just start over. You can get along better when you win the title instead of getting embarrassed by a lesser talented team. I believe that finals was the final straw. They had just lost for the second year in a row and it was obvious that team wasn't going to get it done had they stayed together. So somebody had to go.
