Oh well, it's in the past. AI is a legendary baller...that's all that really needs to be said.
Agreed.

No it isn't because he decided that it wasn't that important to put one there.

Re: A.I. signs with Besiktas

Lol tell me on what team he would have won a championship on by now if he started playing like steve nash? People so dramatic with the 'if only he wasn't so selfish he woulda got a ring by now' bs, what kind of vague proclamation is this. 30 teams in the league you're god dam lucky if you make the playoffs let alone even make the finals once in your career. Dont tell me denver or detroit either, denver got slightly better after he left for a number of reasons not just because of the chauncey trade (look at how they did after not fluking a good bracket in the playoffs, they got a little lucky in the playoffs the first yr after the trade not gonna lie), and detroit was a cluster**** with michael curry at the helm and the crazy rotation bs he pulled (liek forcing stuckey into the starting 5 wtf was that about).

People assume like its his own fault he never won a chip but pure fact of the matter is he was never really on any brilliant teams. Melo still hadn't stepped up his game (ie defence) when he was in denver, nene was still hurt and camby was a liability to that team defensively, good on the weak side help but not good in the 1 on and a defensive philosophy wasnt preached in denver until after AI left (i dunno why ask george karl). The detroit situation was out of his hands. None of his philly teams were any good, none of his teams had a dominant guy on the inside, usually the key ingredient to any consistent contender.

So remind me, how could he have won a championship by now by changing his game and NOT playing to his strengths? Dude remains loyal to philly for 10 years and they bring in no real help, and you haters/media **** on him for it. Its all a big farce really.

Re: A.I. signs with Besiktas

We learned that most of Allen Iverson's issues have nothing to do with what he does on the court.

He is by all accounts someone who doesn't care about being in shape, taking care of himself, building trust in teammates and the organization.

We learned that he is basically a drunk. Why would any NBA team want that? Did you see how much his body has changed? Last year he had belly rolls. His former sinewy body is not in shape. All this because of how he handles himself off the court.

Steve Nash got in better shape in his 30's.....Iverson just let himself go. Everyone in the NBA saw the drama last year.

Nash completely changed his diet a few years ago. No sugar. Completely dedicated to changing his body.

Iverson stayed out until 5:00 am every night.

One is still in the NBA. The other is signing in Turkey. Pretty obvious to me who cared about basketball and himself.
