How would they score though? It's not like they could catch putbacks or oops or perform Hookshots so in essence they'd have to shoot nothing but jumpers. Even if they got the Offensive Board, they would still have to move away at least 6 feet from the basket and then make a move.

They would score pretty easily. 7 feet isn't far from the basket at all. Any big man can shoot 7 foot hook shots or bank shots. The woman guarding him is at best 6'5"(if we are putting Lisa Leslie at center) so it's not like she will be able to contest the shot. Plus there isn't a woman alive (Leslie is 170 pounds) who could stop the big man from getting into that 7 to 10 foot spot they want to shoot the turnaround hook or jumper. Plus if he misses the other 7 foot man on the court will most likely get the rebound so they just pass it out and set the big man up all over again.

I think the women would stand a better chance if the set the limit to 10 or 15 feet instead of 6. A 7 footer is still a pretty close shot for a 7 footer being guarded by somebody at least 6 inches shorter and 70 to 100 plus pounds lighter.

Since the women would be at a huge disadvantage in terms of size, you could take the worst 7 foot player in the league and tell him just grab the rebounds and protect the paint. Let the guards/forwards take the shots. No woman player, strictly from a physical standpoint, is going to out-rebound the worse 7 footer. It's just not happening. Neither are they stopping any 6'5 NBA player, even a bad one, from shooting right over the top. I will stress again, 'bad' NBA players are still great Basketball players.
