I wouldn't call it an uproar but there is a nice group of fans that want it changed back. Me personally, I don't have a problem with the Wizards name and actually prefer that compared to the Bullets. Never understood the hype about that name anyway to be honest.

Uproar is little strong but every time the topic is brought I don't hear no to Bullets...

Meh too many teams in the atlantic div red/white/blue now. Lol.

Now watch the Nets go back to the aba jerseys to REALLY make it the retro division.....I want that to happen BTW.

Put it like this: The same ones arguing that the name needs to be changed back to Bullets are the same ones arguing that the Redskins need to be moved back to DC LOL.

They could but it won't happen. They should've never changed it, but since they did and gave the reason they did, they'll never go back to it. They'll change it to something else.

Gotta say, I'm not onboard with them becoming the Washington Phallic Symbols either.
