If you compare the Raptors to the rest of the league, they were 19th in attendance last season. Only the top 8 teams made a profit. Top 15 didn't lose too much, but the bottom half were huge losers. 19th in the league is ok if the league is doing well, but the NBA just wasn't doing well at all.

I like the way everybody blames the players for being greedy lol. All of us would draw the line some where. All the players did was give back for the previous CBA and because they refused to give more they're greedy.

If the owners want security blankets they should do a better job of sharing revenue. The players are willing to give back 200 million in revenue while getting nothing new out of the new CBA. Not to mention all the other stuff they will be giving up without anything in return. Like I said before when do you say enough is enough if your the NBPA?

But your missing the point that he's stating. What concessions were the owners giving? Vs what was in place now? The hard cap was never in place so how can the owners conceded the hard cap? That's double speak.

Please, Duncan and Garnett both have serious, ailing and troublesome knee issues. They likely have one or two productive years left in their bodies, especially with how both were outplayed in the playoffs. I love both those guys and would hate to see their careers ended do to greed (both union and owner) and especially when so many fans are struggling economically. They all are being shortsighted and will hurt the league short-term and long-term, IMO.

The league will be back to 1999-2007 level attendance, interest and television ratings. They had their biggest season during a down economy and follow it up with labor strife and cancelled games/season. Stupid.....

I would have drawn the line at 50% and collected my million dollars a year for playing basketball.

This is getting insane, if your a true baller and love for the game, quit worrying about money dont u guys have enough, yea they deserve it they went out and did what they had to do to get to the NBA, but alot of these guys were blessed with the basketball talent and abilities. But come on just split it 50-50 the players had 57% of revenue, now owners want 50-50 and players wont go below what was it 53 ? wow really....

ok there are times i get sooooo mad at the obvious biased that the nba and the refs give stars in this league, And u cant tell me the refs dont try to get there finger in on how a outcome of a game takes place, but still a part of me missing watching my Blazers play on TV and listening to the Blazers pre and post game shows, and seeing them get better... but another part of me is pisses how greedy these guys are being, make a deal and get it done. and move on, the NFL didnt have to cancel games. cause they wanted to get something done more they u guys i guess
