Saw this in a Hornets forum and thought it fit.

Humble Laker Fans are boring and I actually get offended by them because they put this front on like "Yeah man, I hate how we get whatever player we want, especially HOW we get them" but on the inside they're like, "This is too easy. Chalk up another ship for my boys. "

I hear you guys, but c'mon...

You'd rather have guys like us be like FloydNDLAL? Be real lol, that would be horrible.

I'm happy yes, hell... elated even. But as I've said previously, this doesn't guarantee squat. Still gotta be earned and no doubt go through OKC (barring unforeseen events or serious injuries) because I still see them as top dog in the west till they face one another and the Lakers prove me otherwise.

No real point in debating who's gonna have to guard who, and Harden this, or Dwight that. In the end we'll just wait to see if they actually end up playing one another in the playoffs and see who comes out on top.

I don't know who that is right now, but if they do end up meeting each other we'll find out.

Yeah I would be excited too, someone on Around the Horn made a good point today, it took the Lakers 3 years after Kobe and Shaq came along to win the Title and it took the Heat 2 years so it may not be this season for the Lakers, Lakers fans should be hoping Nash will be top notch for more than one season and hope Kobe stays healthy for two more seasons and with all that hope that a year in LA possibly without a ring will keep Howard in LA.

I highly doubt that will be the case, though. Nash and his chronic back problems maybe an issue for the Lakers.

Bad karma my man, not cool at all.

I would think you're better than this logic.

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)

And they signed Jodie Meeks? Lakers are just trolling at this point.

Their depth is going to be tough to manage. I just don't see a scenario, barring injuries, that the Lakers lose to the Thunder as it currently stands.

The one thing that the Lakers were missing in that series was an interior defensive presence and they got that, plus a deadly pick and roll game of Nash/Gasol or Nash/Howard with Kobe chilling on the perimeter. O.o

Every game but one in that series was down to the wire, and Nash/Howard I think could be the difference of getting them over that hump.

And more depth to boot.

As a Bulls fan, I think I'll just go ahead and push FF on this season.
