I think Andre Miller is underrated, he's just a solid efficient player, and he's been doing it for a while.

He's really not as bad as people think he is. He was in the NBA for a reason.

Same for Adam Morrison.

He's not a Lebron/Kobe type of star because he isn't in a market that could lead to a worldwide presence.

And I'm not attacking you sir but that was an interesting response and I just wanted to know what circles neglect Parker so I can label them squares haha.
Haha no attack offence taken. No circles here on OS, but amongst some of my peers (who are indeed squares) and basketball groups, and barber shop conversations, I know of many people who've called Parker a "System" Point Guard, as if to say, if he was on Chicago, he wouldn't have done what Derrick Rose did with that team. And if it wasn't for this season, where he's playing his best basketball, if he wasn't doing what he was doing, how many people, when you bring up that Best Point Guard list on OS thread, would have him up there at the top? I still feel as though he's a bit unappreciated, maybe it's because of the small market and many people not caring when the Spurs come on.

At that time fans/media ignored, weren't aware of overestimated Dwight's low post "skills" or lack there of. You really just needed a big guy who wouldn't get muscled deep in the paint to guard him straight up. Today's nba doesn't have many of them worth getting time. But that's very different than guarding skilled guys like Gasol and Bynum. Perkins is a good defender, but not as good as he was made out to be bc of that.

If you consider good role players under rated then we don't really disagree. I feel Perkins was hyped beyond the "good role player" level so can't consider him underappreciated considering that. I think Battier is a perfect name for this discussion.
