^^I thought I was the only one that thought this trade was weird.^^

I kind of feel bad for Derrick Williams. Where do you play him now? He's right back to where he started.

Rudy Gay is a good post player, defender, passer and slasher. He needs to realise he isn't a good 3pt shooter and i think he would make a great 2nd option on a good team. if his contract wasn't so ridiculous i think he would be a good fit on many teams

rudy gay and josh smith go hand in hand to me, as rotat said, good passer slasher can defend and HORID 3pt shooters yet they stand there all day and chuck em. both can be multi time all-stars if they learn to accept their deficiencies and improve on them in the off-seasons

Josh Smith is noticeably better at everything than Rudy except shooting, where they're both medicore. Different class of player.

In regards to this trade. What would everyone say is a fair yearly salary for Gay? Curious as to opinions.

I'd put him in the $7-$10 Mil range.

I don't think he's a bad or mediocre player by any stretch(I'd save that for the Johan PetROFL's and the Travis OutLOL's of the world)but I also don't think he's been utilized very well in Memphis or Toronto.

He only shoots like 2 3pointers a game.. Idk where everyone gets this he's a chucker who shoots too many 3's mentality.

Williams, Cousins, and Gay. It could work. I like the trade for Sacramento. I guess Toronto figured Rudy Gay isn't a number 1 guy and traded him. I think Toronto will be fine with Derozen.
