Any contract that had Billy King's name somewhere on it.

Agreed. As long as he can keep it together off the court, I think he will be fine. Still young and tons of potential.

As for Kobe, in terms of his on court production, yes, he is overpaid. But in terms of what it is worth to the Lakers financially (merchandise/promotions etc) he is easily worth that, maybe more.

Re: Contract Busts

I disagree with a few .

Joe Johnson -overpaid but not a bust. He's productive and an all-star this year. To add He's also very clutch lol.

Kobe Bryant- maybe his on-court game won't return but his name holds value in merchandise , tickets, etc... It was a business decision . Gives L.A more time to find a big name player to replace Kobe too.

Larry Sanders- I think it might be too early to call him a bust

Re: Contract Busts

Juwan Howard - 7 years/$105 million

Probably one of the worst signings ever.

For ****s and giggles:

Jerome James - 5 years/$30 million

Re: Contract Busts

Larry Hughes 5 yr. $70 million
Jerome James as well. The Kings made him look too good during that one Playoff series and he cashed in with the Knicks. Good for him.
Peja Stojakovic 5 yr. $64 million
