I still think they would of grab Beasley with the #1 pick. On paper he was the better fit for them.

About the Rose injury. Considering Rose admitted he wasn't big on stretching and just going on athleticism he was more than likely gonna break down eventually unfortunately. Maybe playing with those guys would have helped, but once the wheels are bad they're bad. Guy was going on however many games without proper physical conditioning.

Same with guys like Jabari. Like yeah it can be called a freak accident but I think an achilles tear is more of an accident. Or a dislocated shoulder. Something that really happens from bumping into somebody or making the wrong cut vs something that tears do to wear/damage over time. Like a pitcher with a bad arm.

Sometimes it's really just a guy has played so many games over highschool, AAU and college that the wheels have so much wear by the time they get to the NBA. And Rose was a high jumper and was super fast. Heck my knees even hurt sometimes and I didn't play nearly as many games lol.

Saying all that, I still don't think LeBron would have went to MIA if Rose was there. Even if Rose was on a rookie contract they would have extended him eventually and then there def wouldn't be space for him Wade Bron AND Bosh. And if he did go there bench would have been even worse lol. If he did go, as far as spacing, Bosh would still be at C and Bron at PF. If they had Ray Allen it would have worked and they would have probably went 4-0 in the finals.

It's a nice thought but would never happen because of salary cap but the idea is really exciting to think about. Although I don't think Rose would've been as good as he was if went to Miami because he wouldn't have been able to dominate the ball because of the players on the roster.
