Re: whos better

I with you MadSkillz and LiquidRage. AI is overrated, and I'm surprised so many people in here are defending him. I think maybe he just has some really hard core supporters, because if you look at the poll numbers, Kobe is destroying both him and T-Mac. And his team was NOT that bad when they went to the Finals.

In my opinion, it's close, but I'd take Kobe over T-Mac. Iverson is tough and you gotta admire his attitude and confidence, but he's nowhere near as complete a player as Kobe or McGrady. Good try though all you AI-backers.

...and by complete, you mean what? Complete all-round stats? Well it's pretty stupid to compared them from guys 6-8 and above to a tiny 6 footer.

Iverson has proved himself, the other two hopefuls have not.

The NBA has changed so much. You used to have to prove yourself, not just over quite a few years, but in tough situations and on teams that aren't loaded with talent. Too many young players get hailed as the next big thing, then with a flash game or two they already are that thing. It's an absolute insult to the great former players how much attention and undeserved credit so many players get these days.

Re: whos better

The choice is really between Kobe and T-Mac. For me personally, I think Tmac is better, I think he is the best player in the league right now. His offensive skills are slightly higher than kobe's. He has a more consistent jumper, whether it be mid-range or especially Three pointers. His defense is slightly better, obviously because of his height and wingspan. Kobe just doesn't have a good consistent jumper, I will say however he is a better penetrator than Tmac. Overall though, Tmac is the better player.

of course, that just my opinion.

...and Kobe saying he is the best player on the team and the offence is being wasted while they continue to go to Shaq, is that respect?

How about McGrady... during the playoff series against Charlotte (yes, not after - during!) he says the reason Baron Davis is playing well and getting triple doubles is because he has a much better team around him and McGrady says he can't do the same on his own team because they suck.

...yeah much respect.

Iverson sticks up for every player on his team and does the same for coach Brown, even though he continues to say crap about Iverson all year.

Get some knowledge before you post...
