That is beyond dumb. Not that it matters in the least who coaches the all-star teams, but Lue coaching would take it to a whole new level of pointlessness.

It doesn't matter to fans, but as a coach, you know they'd appreciate the opportunity to do it since not many coaches get to do it. Getting recognition for your hard work and teams current success, on one of biggest stages in basketball.

I never said lue should coach, im saying he shouldn't. Either Casey gets it for having most wins this year of all current east coaches, or crazy idea of Blatt getting to coach since he was 1st and probably still will be by cutoff date.

Walton isn't so much cause he wasn't an official coach of record, its cause he was part of kerrs staff last year, and staffs cant repeat. But apparently none of this matters based on that article posted

Those two scenarios are so awkward, especially if they tell Lue to coach

Kind of crazy that if Lue and Walton are coaches, Kobe's last all-star game will end with two of his former teammates coaching it.
