only lebron had an outside shot i would give the cavs a shot, no pun intended. the cavs are too dependent on lebron getting inside the lane. he's not the same guy as he was a couple years ago.

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2

Livingston went 8-9 in January, and the other game GS blew out CLE so he only scored a 4 points going 2-2... Don't think he had to do much that game

What I see is that he is a mismatch for them, no matter if he scores 8-10 or not. The size matchup is a problem.

When Kenny Smith and Isaiah Thomas stood next to him in the post game interview he made them look little, so Irving and Dellavadova are pretty much the same in comparison...that's a problem in the post.

Yeah when I saw that stat I was wondering why they just skipped that series lol. Maybe an after the "decision" stat.

Washington Post had an entire article dedicated to that stat. Apparently the last 9 times he's lost Game 1 he's won Game 2. They don't say when that run started, of course.

Why is this even a thing? Isn't it a team thing?

Im sure the Miami Heatles had alot to do with that as well...

Like stuff like this with no context trying to make a statement by sites like ESPN are annoying

It's not missing context though. The last 9 series he's lost game 1 in his teams went on to win game 2.. That's the entire context, nothing missing from it?

It's one of those pointless ESPN stats for sure, but it's not really missing any context.

Well, it would be interesting to know how many of those series he won, how many series overall he played in over that stretch, or what round each of those series was in. Another article said that the stat is from 2009-present, fwiw.

It's just another random stat that doesn't tell you much, but that people (journalists) are trying to push on us as evidence that Game 2 is critical.
