Been feeling himself lately too.

James Harden on the MVP: “I need it, I need it for sure, and I’m gonna get it”

I just asked James Harden what he says to people who are mad that he gets to the freethrow line so much. He said, dead serious, “Stop fouling. It’s simple”.

Pretty sure the Warriors are going to shut him up tomorrow, but I’ve got to say, I absolutely love him embracing his role as the NBA’s premier villain. As a guy who cheers for the bad guys in pro wrestling, movies, comics, etc., I find the Harden hate, and his response to it, entertaining. The fact that he’s putting up historic numbers and posting wins against quality teams without Paul/ Gordon/ Ariza/ Ennis/ Melo/ Luc, etc. is pretty astonishing.

Isn't KD the NBA villain at this point? Or Draymond? Just Golden State in general the premier villain? Perhaps LaVar?

The Warriors have as many fans as they have haters though. Bandwagoners? Sure. But they have tons of supporters all over the country. Harden is almost universally disliked by all lol.
