Great win for ATL last night, esp since Trae resorted to little more than launching deep threes down the stretch. I still don't know if they can pull out the series with no Hunter and a limited Bogy but this should be a good one.

He's used it but I feel like he's mostly used it throughout his career for lobs and mixed those Curry/Nash low scoops and bank shots for the times he wanted to score. In large part because any slight contact knocks him off balance and he can still go glass with the hopes of the And-1 play. And we all know he sells the **** out of that too.

This dropping floaters in from all over the floor feels kinda new, at least doing it this regularly and this efficiently. Whether we want to say he's played good/bad teams smart/dumb teams the point still stands that he's absolutely breaking apart playoff defenses with ease right now utilizing that floater. It's crazy to watch.

That floater is Trae's version of the midrange. Once he develops and finds a spot on the floor he likes (ala Chris Paul on the right elbow) from midrange he's going to be super duper obnoxious.
