Re: NBA Rookie Report: 2021-22

I'm starting to lean Cade for rookie of the year . No shocker there.

Detroit plays the Knicks today. This game will lock it in for me. Cade been playing well for a while now. Look at his 4th quarter vs the Wizards

Makes that pass to Bey for the lead
Alley Oop pass to Marvin (they been connecting)
Down 3, makes a mid range jumper.
Down 1, makes another mid jumper

Even made thinking basketball

Here is a awesome article about all the narratives each rookie faces

I thought it was a cool breakdown for the top 3 guys. Should be very interesting.

Re: NBA Rookie Report: 2021-22

16-17 was last time 3 guys recieved 1st place votes for ROY.

Since the 05-06 season, only 1 time has it been a close race for ROY, and that was in 08-09 when Tyreke Evan's beat out some guy named Stephen Curry.

This year will be interesting to see how the voting goes.

Player A: 15.4PPG, 3.4APG, 1.1SPG, 7.6RPG, 0.8BPG, .523EFG%, 0.9BPM, 1.9VORP, 16.4PER

Player B: 17.4PPG, 5.6APG, 1.2SPG, 5.5RPG, 0.7BPG, .471EFG%, -1.7BPM, 0.2VORP, 13.1PER

Player C: 14.9PPG, 2.5APG, 0.8SPG, 8.2RPG, 1.6BPG .521EFG%, 0.5BPM, 1.5VORP, 15.9PER

Just using the "regular stats" and totaling them up, Player B wins.

Using advanced stats, it's more between player A and C, with A being better than C.

So it just depends on how the voters vote. Some might just look at stats and say one guy had more points, assists and so on and vote him. While ones who dig deeper will see someone else is actually better.

I've been looking at their stats so much for the last month. I already knew who was player was reading through it . I say split it between the 3. Co-co-co ROY
