this series going 5 would incredibly surprise me this seems like a series going 6 or 7 barring health. i wouldn't let the previous series influence you too much. Matchups are different. Cs also will not be playing a drop in this one. dubs movement will be a test for sure but I also think people are down on the Cs offense and they can play even better there so i wouldn't be shocked if they leveled up there. I am going Cs in 7 well because but i won't be shocked one way or the other. These 2 are evenly matched.

their models are really over the top with it but the advanced models just really like boston because they don't have a negative player in their rotation. Advanced stats have also really liked Boston since the calendar turn but that's overboard imo.

I feel like 86.5% in favor of the Celtics is really high. I'm slightly for the Celtics but that's really lowballing the Warriors

Hopefully all the flopping and flailing is not honored by the refs in this series. No need for any Academy Award Golden Globe Nickelodeon Teen Choice Award Oscars actors in the Finals.

Seen less of these playoffs than I have been accustomed to, yet I have been fortunate that for whatever reason a lot of the games I have been able to see have included the Boston Celtics. First against the Nets, then against the Bucks (not so much against the Heat) so I feel I have a good read on them. Feel I have a good read on the Warriors because of all the regular season games I have seen of them, which is just a result of how much I enjoy their style of play.

If the Celtics were completely healthy or if I trusted more their judgement, I probably would pick them as an upset. But I won’t risk that on Marcus Smart’s ankle and the on-again, off-again situation with Rob Williams. Then there still the problem of Smart’s delusions of grandeur (look at the last 2 minutes of Game 7 against the Heat), Jaylen Brown’s dribble problems and 2^nd half Brown and, of course, “How many contested 3’s I can take?/I will settle for jumpers” Tatum.

Thought about heading down to the sportsbook (no online option here yet ) to put some money on the Celtics, but I won’t risk losing my bet and losing the money it would take to replace my TV after a Tatum miss, seeing him not get back on transition defense while he whines for a call on the baseline and me throwing the ****ing remote through the screen. Nope, I don’t need that on my life.

I believe this Celtics team could overcome one of those issues, but not both. Yet I wouldn’t be surprised if they overcame the health issue with the benefit of 2 days between games (except for Game 3/4).
