So Niners could have retained McGlinchey for less and now there's another hole along the line while adding a DT, who's a nice addition, but the defense wasn't the issue the line blocking was and now they've taken a step back there. Not a huge McGlinchey fan but at some point are they going to prioritize the offensive line and not just the defense.

I would’ve taken the better player.

An elite player at that, which they’ve already been devoid of those on the roster.

Definitely think Eagles aren't resigning CJGJ if thats the market for Safeties. Bengals lost both Bell and Bates. Dax Hill has a lot on his plate now. I can see the Bengals going after CJGJ

Plus the Bears may have accidentally won a game at some point in the last ten games of the season if they kept him, which wipes out everything they just got from Carolina
