I’m biased as a Bears fan but I’d much rather go to Chicago than the team that trades away a bunch of assets to get the #1 pick and end up in a Bryce Young situation

Ah. I heard he backtracked on it but I don’t usually listen to him so I didn’t go and find what he said to try and clean it up since I thought it was just his opinion to begin with.

And yeah, Bears are a good spot for a #1 pick. Still a top 10 draft pick of their own so they’re not great, but they have more to work with than a team picking first usually does. Now imagine if they can use some of that cap space to sign OL who can actually block or draft a second receiver who can catch? Wow

Who goes 2 and 3? Can't see Washington passing on a QB, or at the least trading out to a team who will take a QB

I got Daniel's going #2, and a team moving up to #3 to snag Harrison Jr. Either the Bears, or Chargers.

Don't hesitate to think someone wouldn't move up that's already got a QB in the top 10 to get that QB some help.

Yeah, it used to be an empty threat because the guy would have to play another year for free in college and first round contracts were astronimical. But that's not the case any more. With NIL and the rookie cap, a guy like Williams can afford the risk. It's not like even a devastating injury is a risk, Tua still went 5th overall. It's happened before, Andrew Luck comes to mind. Notably in the first year of the rookie cap.
