Re: Week 16 Discussion Thread

Baltimore's division to lose now. Don't see the Steelers beating KC on Christmas, Bengals game is a toss up. Could very well see them heading into the playoffs on a four game losing streak.

Russ's goal line fumble and pick six flipped the game along with the defense getting gashed. Hopefully Pickens is back and Porter isn't too banged up.

Pretty impressive fun fact -- this was Lamar's 4th interception on the year but the first that didn't hit his receiver's hands first, i.e. first interception all year Lamar actually threw to a defender vs going off the receiver's hands.

Re: Week 16 Discussion Thread

This team is an absolute joke, based on just these last 2 weeks, the Steelers will be one and done in the playoffs.

In looking at the year so far, while they are 10-5, they haven't beat any "top tier" teams, the Eagle game and now this game, going against better teams the Steelers show exactly just how outmatched they are.

They went from a top defense all the way down to 26, going into next week and the last week against Cincy, this sorry excuse of a defense is going to get carved up...yet again, there were so many holes in their zone defense tonight that I could've made those throws...

Should we talk about (yet again) the piss poor tackling?

If the Steelers lose out (which honestly, I can very easily see this happening) and go One and done in the playoffs, I will hope there are some definite shakeups in the coaching staff.

Starting with the head cheerleader himself, I am so sick and tired of hearing the whole "never had a losing season", this is the most worthless "stat" that I've ever heard of, and so many like to run with this crap.

Teryl Austin- enough said...being the top rated defense and falling to 26? and the head cheerleader himself supposed to be "defensive orientated"?

Arthur Smith- playcalling being very predictable, how many damn times is he gonna call the same toss play to Najee and Jaylon? Also towards the end of todays game, facing a 3rd and long...what does Smith call, a damn wr screen!!! was Canada in his ear or something? This was some Matt Canada style BS!!

Is it possible to get an actual offensive line coach that can coach these guys in not only the actual art of blocking, but holding the damn block long enough so the receivers can get down field.

To say I am disgusted by what I witnessed not only tonight, but last week as well would be an understatement.

Last thing...for the love of God, can somebody, anybody even the janitor teach the damn defense how to tackle??

Give it 24 hours for the pain of a loss to the Ravens to subside. Then you'll probably be clear headed enough to recognize that this post is nonsense

There is absolutely nothing about my post that is "nonsense", everything I said is absolutely true, so maybe YOU are the one that should stop the "nonsense" posts.

I don't need to give it "24 hours" for anything.

You say you haven't beat any top teams, but with this win the Ravens and Steelers split their season series.

How many people had the Steelers 1st in the division at this point in the season? Definite shakeups in the coaching staff after the team overperformed from expectations?

Remind me how many Steelers were hurt for the game? Didn't they go most of the game missing 3 of 4 starters in the secondary?

And missing your top WR for what is already a mediocre offense? I don't think this game should have been as close as it was
