There really aren't too many blanks to fill in.

There is no question that Randy Moss is not the best reciever of all time. Anyone who has heard of Jerry Rice can tell you that. Further, I don't even think he's the best WR in the league right now. I'll take Marvin Harrison and probably even the overgrown 3 year old Terrell Owens before this clown.
Selfish....I don't hear him demand the ball anymore than any other WR in the league and damn sure has nothing on Meshawn and TO in that dept. I don't think he is any more selfish than a WR should be. Lazy....That's odd, because I hear he has a great offseason work ethic and works on adding new facets to his game all the time. Crybaby....really don't hear anything out of the ordinary out of anybody who is a scrutinized as much as he is. He doesn't lash out at the media to my knowledge.

He's not the #1 team guy or sportsman and probaly pain in the *** teammate but he gets it done between the white lines. Nobody really knows what kind of person he iis outside his occupation, so I don't think it's fair to speculate just on what we've read in magazines or see on TV. Moss just doesn't sugarcoat anything, he's real. Kinda reminds me of Barkley. Not everything he says or does youre going to like but that's the way he is and he's not going to put up a front. I wish more athletes were like that instead of being media yes men.

That's true, they were both wrong. But Favre hasn't come out and said that he gives up on plays. That's the only real thing that bothers me about Moss, he clearly shows a lack of effort. I don't hate the guy, he is a great player. But, some things he does make me wonder what he is thinking.

Anyway he is on pace to break a lot of Rice records but the receptions and totall yards SEEM to have a firm grasp. But think about it Rice had Young and Montana two of the greatest QBS ever. And was always playing with Super Bowl talent around him. Moss on the other hand has played with the like of cunnungham, jeff george,, brad johnson, moon (i think), culpepper, he even made Gus Frerrote and Todd Bouman look like Pro Bowl quarterbacks. I dont think Rice has ever did that for a quarterback. Moss just needs a ring. Hopefully Moss well get his chance like Owens and get on team that can get him to the super bowl. I wishing he goes to my 3rd fav team the ravens reunite with Billick and make whack as Boller look like a pro bowler and free the field up for kevin johnson and travis taylor, and moore. Wow imagine that facing Moss and Moore together two 6'4 wr with hops. P.S. sorry Moss for putting your name in the same sentence put he is a up and coming stud with sum potential.
Man get your facts right, He was a problem child wayyyy before he got in the league..He got kicked out of Florida state and I think another school before he landed at Marshall..And to use being from the hood as an excuse for bad behavior? You're a knucklhead just for saying that.

No way Moss is best ever. That title belongs to Jerry Rice.

Agreed,

however I think that if Moss applied himself more and gets a better work ethic then he could give Rice a run for his money. As it is right now Moss is wasted potential.

I think calling him wasted potential is going a little too far. He has more receiving yds and catches than Rice did to begin his career and has 3 less TD's so calling him wasted potential is going a little too far IMO. I do agree that he has a long ways to go to catch Rice before he can even be considered the best ever.

This is perfectly stated.
