Good thread Raymond. I disagree with you a little bit. I think Brady proved he was the best in the league after last year's Super Bowl. He just solidified his #1 ranking this year!

The problem with this debate is defining what a QB is. it's a position that has a lot wrapped up in it.

If a QB is a passer, then I don't think Brady is the "Best" .... that's Manning.
If a QB is a playmaker, then I don't think Brady is the "Best" .... that's Vick or McNabb or Culpepper.

But - if a QB is a leader and a manager, then it's hard to argue against Brady. He gets the job done with the tools at hand.

First off, don't let THAT Steelers fan be confused with any of us. I won't hate on Brady, whether he beats us or hands us a game. And he's NOT 2-0 against PA teams, he's 2-1, and actually the whooping on halloween was worse than the whooping in the AFCCG, but that's a moot point because, quite honestly, the AFCCG was a "must win" and the Steelers' D gave that away.. among other players and coaches.

I rank Brady easily in the top 3 QB's playing today, and a good candidate for a top 10 QB's of all time, given he continues to perform to this level throughout his career.
