Patriots--- A: Does this really need explaining?

Cowboys--- D I think we got a tad worse this year. Hopefully sometime we get better

Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bull**** in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the F*ck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.

I'd give the Lions a C+.

Should probably be a C- or C, but I am bumping them up for the following:
- Increased win total
- Won a few games on the road
- All but two losses were VERY close and could have swung the other way
- Beat Atlanta in ATL
- Big Baby and Drummond developed into Pro Bowlers
- The emergence of KJ, Roy and Teddy as NFL caliber starters
- Played the entire season (minus 5 miutes) without their #1 Receiver and still improved
- Special Teams

Ravens:

Offense: D
Too vanilla. Most plays seen from a mile away. Kyle still needs to work on pocket presence and accuracy. Running game was quite decent considering Jamal was out for 4 games (and no one really expected him to repeat his 2000 yard performance), and Chester Taylor filled in quite nicely. The entire recieving corp should be blown up and start from our young guys (Hymes and Moore). Our O-line needs to be better at protecting Kyle.

Defense: C
Still a great defense, but might be overrated now. This is NOT the 2000 defense and comparisons should stop. I think we should go back to the 4-3 set with Ray Ray patrolling the MLB position. Our D-line was too small and physically beaten on many plays. Our CB's underperformed. McAlister is overpayed and Baxter might be overpayed soon too. Not enough can be said about the year Ed Reed had, but his steller play could not overcome the deficiencies this defensive unit showed.

Special Teams: B
Stover is our best offensive threat, and that NOT a good thing. BJ Sams had some great runbacks early on, but seemed to hit a wall as the year progressed.

Overall: C
A team with SB aspirations at the start of the season fizzled at the end going 2-4 at the end of the season.

Denver Bronos -- D+. I know they went to the playoffs but they underperformed. I also sense they will not get anything better than a C with Plummer as their QB.

Cowboys C- This grade may seem high, but I was in P2K's "Cowboys take a step back" camp before the season, so I wasn't as let down as some other Cowboys fans. Two major positives were the emergence of Jason Witten and Julius Jones.

Texans B- The season finale against the Browns notwithstanding, the Texans made definite strides this season, especially David Carr and Andre Johnson. Mark it down: Houston will contend for a playoff spot next season.
