Jerome Harrison has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for Mike Bell.

Great opportunity for Harrison. Dude deserves better then the lowly Browns.

How much of an opportunity is he really going to get once McCoy is healthy again? They seem like the same player to me.

Well, if they are trading for him they are clearly interested in his services. The Browns, specifically this new regime, has not even put him on the field lately.

I don't think he is going to go to Philly and take the world by storm but you can bet he is going to run with whatever opportunity they present him with. He will be a great back-up to McCoy, who I'm sure the Eagles are worried about keeping fresh for the rest of the year. Like Westbrook and Buckhalter, the Eagles and Andy Reid, like to have two solid runners.

I think he will probably get 6-7 touches a game. Maybe even more if he performs to the level I expect.

lol @ lowly Browns.

We have one of the top run blocking lines in the NFL and Harrison was trash all year, when given any chance.

Glad he's gone now. He was sulking and obviously unhappy, and the Browns pick up a more physical runner.

He played pretty well in the first game but yeah when they cut his playing time he hasn't responded well.

Just a bad situation for the guy. He finally gets a shot to show what he can do in 2009 and the Browns bring in a new staff. They prefer a different style of runner and Harrison wasn't going to fit in, especially with the chip on his shoulder he has had (I would assume) his whole life.

Ghost is one of my favorite Cougs of all-time. Glad he's going to the Eagles. He'll get a good amount of touches and help them by catching balls out of the backfield, something Mike Bell doesn't do.

its a great pickup for the eagles they get a second back who's fast and a kick returner and they get to take hobbs out of duties for kick returner

Harrison is neither a kick returner nor a fast back.

He's a shifty back with decent speed.
