Before anyone even thinks about blaming Carr...the whole team is sucking it up today.

It's called the 'Hey we can still go higher in the draft mentality.'

Re: Texans vs Patriots

This is getting out of hand.

And, I'm sorry Leah, but Carr has played horrible today. I know the rest of his team has played just as bad, but Carr has been disgustingly bad.

And another FG, 40-7/

It's great to feel like Gostkowski is going to make em. I'm finally feeling confident in him.

He's 10 of 10 in the last 6 games.

To me, just the whole team came out playing horrible to begin with, so I don't care about Carr's 4 interceptions, I am disappointed that the whole team is playing bad and no one decided to step up

It's kinda hard to freakin' perform when first and foremost you come out with no fire. That's the #1, #2, and #3 issue on this damn team. No competitive fire. Yeah, I don't know if I'd be all up to play with a 4-9 (now 10) record either, but they're professional football players. They shouldn't have to be forced to be fired up out of the game. I saw a defeatist attitude today, and it made me sick.

Re: Texans vs Patriots

Nice bounce back game for the Pats. It was kind of expected. The Jags are the most up and down team in the NFL so I don't know what to expect heading into next week. Hopefully Maroney is back. And even though they put up 40 today, the passing game never looked particularly strong. It makes Gabriel's release even more of a head-scratcher.

Re: Texans vs Patriots

David Carr this year - 10 TDs, 11 INTs
Vince Young this year - 10 TD, 11 INTs

Talk about a tale of two cities...

Sorry, as an agonizing Texans fan, I just had to go there.

Today wasn't all Carr's fault. The whole team was pathetic. It's the same old story.

But can we all just agree that David Carr will not be starting QB for the Texans next year? And the fact is, I think that will be best for BOTH Carr and the Texans.

Here's a question though. Forget salary cap and all that stuff. If Carr were to become available either via trade or free agency, how many teams would rather have him over their current QB?

Maybe Cleveland, Oakland, Detroit, Minnesota (?), Washington? I'm trying to be objective here, but I think that says something about where your QB ranks if only a few teams would take him over what they have.
