Very sad news when a parent dies with a child so young.

Wow... I obviously knew this was serious but I never thought he would actually pass away. Just terrible.

BTW: Did anyone else hear ESPN say the phone lines to Taylor's house had been cut? This was no plain robbery.
Yes it was. The ****ers that do these type of things understand a million dollor house will have an alarm system. Cutting the phone lines disables systems like ADT. When that happens ADT will try calling your cell phone first before calling the police. It gives them more time. I hope they catch the ****ers.

I disliked him but jeesh, never wanted or thought he would die after all of this. I just hope they get who shot him and give the guy the electric chair!! That's just unbelievable.

Sharpstein said Taylor's girlfriend told him the couple was awakened by loud noises, and Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection. Someone then broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor, Sharpstein said. Taylor's 1-year-old daughter, Jackie, was also in the house, but neither she nor Taylor's girlfriend were injured.--ESPN
Damn, he died trying to protect his family.

Fantastic post. I would imagine Dan Snider, being the good business man he is, will do something to this effect. He's too smart not to. I realize thinking of things in terms of what's good business may not seem appropriate at this time, it would be absolutely TERRIBLE for business for him if he tried to skimp his family. Public perception means a lot.

Prayers go out to his family, especially his daughter that will have to grow up without her daddy.
