I'm confused as to where there are "walls" that lead to 20 foot drops. Perhaps he was above the section corridor and tried to jump on there?

Maybe he was drunk? I'm actually shocked this doesn't happen more often, I go to alot of Cards games, and with the nosebleeds ect, i'm shocked this stuff doesn't happen yearly. Has anyone heard of stuff like this actually happening before?

From what I've heard on the radio, he landed on his head, which explains how a twenty foot fall killed him. I would also not be shocked to learn that booze was involved.

Also, the wall in question is angled so that fans cannot place drinks on them (because they might spill over onto fans below).

Its just a very unfortunate event.
