Re: AFC Divisional: Jaguars at Patriots

The Jags better stay with the gameplan and not try to pass too much. The Jags can run on anyone. The Steelers had 10 guys in the box on some downs and the Jags were still able to get yards. Plus Garrard is not a bad QB and can throw if you stack the box, you will get beat. Add to the fact that that NE DBs are small and the Jags WRs are giants. The Jags just need to stick with the run like they have done all year. Garrard will need to put this game behind him and move on.

On defense, the DBs will need to play great. The Jags pass defense isn't great, but they are not as bad as their ranking. I think they will play an umbrella type defense and force the Pats to go short passing and have to go the length of the field.

I'm glad the Steelers were able to comeback on the Jags, they were getting to big of an ego in the 1st half. Now they are back down to earth and that will hopefully make them work hard during practice this week.

If the Jags play like they did in the first 3 quarters offensively, they have a good shot.

If they play like they did in the 4th quarter offensively, they have no shot.

Jags will IMHO keep it close at the half. Maybe for 3 quarters. But the Pats will pull away and Garrard will not be able to answer the challenge in the 4th.

Go Jags! All we have to do is go out the there and beat one of the most prolific teams in NFL history. No pressure?

If Garrard keeps talking about how he feels the jags are a team of Destiny as he calls it... I have a feeling that will fuel the Pats fire. Team of destiny? Aren't WE the ones who went 16-0 and are trying to be the first team to go 19-0?

Yeah people really need to remember to mention the Patriots before talking about anything good.
