Re: This 6'6 QB, will tear apart NFL Defenses next year!!

I taught Joe Flacco when he was at Pitt (he transferred to Delaware after Walt Harris picked Luke Getsy as our starter, who then subsequently transferred to Akron after he lost his starting job to Tyler Palko).

Joe was a nice guy. He came to class every day, and he wrote some pretty decent papers (it was business ethics). I bet I still have a paper or two that he wrote in a stack somewhere in my office.

Ironically, Luke Getsy was a business major as well. And, I played against him in slowpitch softball before his senior year at Akron (naturally, he was ridiculously better than everyone else on the field).

I know that this has no significance for anyone else, but I am just happy to see the guy (Joe Flacco) doing well. He has worked really hard, and it looks like he might get a chance at the next level.
