It would have been better if they had the p*ts moving truck show up, unload all the stuff, change the population to 2. Then the repo truck shows up and hauls all the p*ts stuff away.

When McGuire broke the HR record we didn't think we'd see it get broken again, then Barroid broke it a few years later.

I think it could happen, but only if you get a team like the Pats out there keeping starters out the whole time and getting incredibly lucky with the injury bug.

Even Mercury Morris said that you need "luck" to go undefeated all the way. Luck is an x-factor. New England got lucky 18 out of 19 times. Miami got lucky 17 out of 17. Makes you wonder if they played 2 more games if they would have been 19-0? Who knows or cares.

If the league expands to say an 18 game season 15 years from now, being undefeated will be that much harder. What the Pats did this year was nothing short of amazing, just like the Bills going to 4 straight Super Bowls.

I think this Super Bowl will be remembered more for the Pats getting their streak broken than for the Giants, just like the Giants/Bills Super Bowl is mostly remembered for the missed FG to win it. Interested that the Giants don't get that much love except when Simms lit it up.
