I'm not saying he shouldn't be given a year but to say he's the best QB on the roster and on the market is a little much no? I mean i'm sure they could draft a QB or get a relatively cheap Free Agent.

He sucks, always has sucked, and always will suck. But, there's no free agent QB's out there at all.

Who is better on the roster? Griese? Orton? No way.

They can't draft a QB in the first round or 2nd... way too many other holes to fill IMO and there is really no FA out there better.

Derek Anderson might be out there but he ain't landing in Chicago.

Sadly you may be right. I'm not against giving Grossman a last chance.

His first official season was this year right? He's been hurt. Hell, people weren't feeling Eli Manning and he got a Superbowl. Never know. Rex might feel the sense of urgency and give us something to be proud of. Sometimes, it take a little patience. I hope that we pick up someone to take the place of Moose as well as a RB. Man, we sure do have too many holes. We'll see what it looks like when the season starts.

signing rex is a joke, they should give orton some snaps in practice and let him see what he can do, we know what grossman can do.

We've already seen what Orton can do.

One more year of futility.
