He would find a way to hate on the Patriots - well, any Boston sports team and their fans - even if they saved every member of his family from a burning building.

No, it's mainly the fair weather nature of Boston sports fans that gets me.

It was said as more of a joke. Thought I had put a smiley in there, but apparently not. Hopefully you caught the sarcasm.

That's exactly what I think.

Going 18-0 last year put a lot of pressure on New England. I don't see them putting that kind of pressure on themselves in the upcoming season. Even if they try to go undefeated, it's still going to be very difficult. They had some tough games last year against teams that weren't that good (Ravens and Eagles).

The Giants proved they could be beaten.

At the same time, they're still the best team in the NFL. They did go 18-1, and lose the super bowl with about a minute left in the game. If Tyree drops that pass, they go from "WHOMG LOL at Pats so overrated" to "best team ever."

I hope they f*ck the whole league up next year. I hope they don't lose at all. Chances are they WON'T make that happen but I hope and pray they do

So true!

I think a mid season loss will be a positive thing for the Pats this year- otherwise the pressure will really mount. Although I still hope they bring it to the league again- only this time finish it off a bit better, haha!
