Harrison/Wayne

BTW it's kind of stunning how 2 of the 5 consensus picks may be broken up by the start of the year.

Looking at just wide receivers, Boldin / Fitzgerald and Moss / Welker get my vote, not that these two tandems are head-and-shoulders better than any of the aforementioned.

I almost pulled the homer card and named the Cowboys' receivers, but then I remembered Jason Witten is a tight end, and that Patrick Crayton doesn't belong in this discussion

If you were to include non-WR receiver positions, though, and still just take the top two receiving threats, one could probably make an argument for the Cowboys (TO and Witten), the Chargers (Gates and Tomlinson), and maybe as a reach pick the Browns (Winslow and Edwards).

If you're going to go Chargers you'd have to go Chambers and Gates.

I'll take those two any day.

That's a good list right there if we were including WR/TE.

Hell, if Santana Moss was more consistent, I would give him and Coooooooooooooooley some serious consideration in being mentioned as one of the top WR/TE combos in the league.

Agreed. They've had some inconsistency at QB as well, which hasn't helped.

Hopefully next year we can add Andre Johnson and Andre Davis/Kevin Walter to this list.

Ehh, Mine looks the same as the OP.
in another thread though, Welker was constantly tagged as 'one of the most overrated players in the league' (not by me)- so receiver duo's should be #1, #2 instead of a #3.

This is a tough question though, because of the QB factor and offense. As a colts fan i hope marvin's career isn't over since him an reggie are a pretty special combo
