I really think Merriman should have shut it down. Still do, sure he doesn't want his knee looking like that after hes done.

None of us are professional football players here on this forum, so it's easy for us to tell him to shut it down. And I guarantee you that Merriman is not worried about the cosmetic appearance of his knee when his career is over.

I mean sure when his career is over, he won't be able to play with his kids or get into certain sexual positions with his wife any more,.but those things aren't important to him right now. He is focused on playing and supporting his team mates.
