Re: Chargers @ Broncos

I was watching this game on a Frontier Airlines flight from SF to Denver.

The guy behind me was a charger fan, who I consider better than a chief or a garbage raider fan.

I was getting SO hot listening to him get excited during every good thing that SD did.

Being able to stand up and look back over my seat after the Broncos scored their two point conversion was SO satisfying.

Next week's game against the saints will be a real benchmark for me to see how far in the playoffs I think the Broncos will go.

Oh and by the why, they weren't "Questionable" call. They got the calls WRONG at least twice resulting in the Broncos having possesion of the ball. Just clarifying.
Call the calls what you like. But who is to say that the "blown call" that resulted in an INT during the first drive would have resulted in points anyhow? They could have stalled for all we know. Yes, if the euipment was working i beleive it should have been overturned, but dont blame the refs, blame the euipment.

As for the fumble, yes the ref said it was a fumble, but with the play being called dead previously, you CANNOT overturn a play called dead. So, in my eyes, the calls were not blown. One was from obvious euipment failure and the other a technicality.

Re: Chargers @ Broncos

I guess technically it's not a "blown call" but it's sure as hell a **** up.

That wasn't the case before?

So you should now be satisfied.
Read what I wrote and then read what you wrote.

How does the make a bit of sense? I said Hochuli doesn't have to face the music. All he has to do is say "My bad, I blew the call", but he's not faced with any ramifications for blowing a call that severe.

Yes he is... how do you know if he isn't fined, or reprimanded? You don't.

To think he gets off scott free is a huge leap in logic on your part.

I never said the Chargers would have scored on the Replay tv not working "BLOWN" call. All I know is it gave the Broncos outstanding field position. By Hoculi blowing the whistle prematurly(sp) he blew the call right there. Was it called correctly after that? yes. But he had already blown the call. It doesn't matter anyways. To each his own. Thats just the way I saw it (and probably everyone else outside the state of Colorado)
