Horton is the only real stand out D rookie I have seen so far this season. Who else is there? McKlevin is doing a decent job in Buffalo but that is about it.

Top List
-Matt Ryan
-Chris Johnson
-DeSean Jackson
-Joe Flacco
Jackson had ROY of the year potential the first few weeks, but where has he been since his ealry touchdown celebration against Dallas? Also Forte would be above him.

Right now top 5 in my opinion would have to be:

Matt Ryan
Chris Johnson
Matt Forte
Joe Flacco
Ryan Clady

Re: Rookie of the Year

My choice is Matt Ryan, but just to let you guys know, Eddie Royal is on pace for 92 catches...

Re: Rookie of the Year

I really missed on Matt Ryan. I thought he had bust written all over him. Boy was I wrong.

Gotta go him for ROY. Even though I have a soft spot for CJ as he has done wonders for my fantasy team. Best 13 round pick I've ever had.

Royal is my homer pick. Dont forget he's missed 1 game with that ankle sprain

Matt Ryan will get it, hard for rookie QB's to come in and do well- I wasn't expecting him to do anything at all.

Re: Rookie of the Year

I personally see it as Matt Ryan, Matt Forte, Eddie Royal and then Chris Johnson. I get that Johnson has had a great year, and he has, but Forte has done it on a team that was projected to have one of the worst starting QB's in the NFL this year and still ran early on when teams were more geared towards the run and testing Ortons ability to throw the ball. Royal and Johnson are tied imo but I had to list one before the other.

Forte isn't playing badly, but his numbers up to this point have been pedestrian IMO. I don't see him in front of Royal, Jackson, or Steve Slaton for ROY. Right now tho, its pretty much a 2 horse race with Ryan in the lead.

Ha, yeah... and that is significant but they were winning before they made the move too. Plus this kid was supposed to be a backup and he bullied his way to getting the bulk of the carries and really being the best offensive weapon on the team.

Agree with you 100% here. Forte hasn't been bad but he hasn't really done much special either. Orton has been the key on offense for the Bears turnaround.
