I expected it. I mean this is the same fan base that told me (even as late as 2007) that they could have won a super bowl with quincy carter at qb.

It is a ESPN story...I mean i'm only hearing it on ESPN...but I do believe it.

Lol @ TO though...it's kinda sad. I know WRs are Divas (Except Andre Johnson and Marvin Harrison) but TO takes it to another level.

A part of me wants to ignore this story because it's well.....ESPN.

But another part of me thinks this could be legit and if it is, then I am not suprised one bit. Can't say that none of us saw this coming eventually.

OWENS ANGRY WITH ROMO AND WITTEN?

Posted by Josh Alper on December 11, 2008, 5:17 p.m.
Three Dallas Cowboy wideouts met with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett this afternoon to discuss their role in the offense. Terrell Owens, Patrick Crayton and Roy Williams have taken a back seat to Jason Witten over the last few weeks. Garrett called it a productive meeting and Crayton tried to downplay any negative spin.
“It was a good chance to get all the stuff out in the air and see how everyone feels so we can get on the same page and be a better offense,” Crayton said. “It was the first time we did it. We spoke to him a couple times individually like on the field and practices and it was a time to get in there and talk. Nothing negative about it.”

Ignoring this until it visibly becomes an on-the-field problem on Sundays.

A hypothetical situation, however: suppose he lives up to his nickname of "Team Obliterator" and explodes, costing the Cowboys a shot at the playoffs (or they lose in the Wild Card again, whichever). With Roy Williams and Jason Witten in the fold, on top of the players they are attempting to develop behind Owens in Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, Miles Austin, and Isaiah Stanback, would the Cowboys chance cutting / trading Owens? Would any team bite on Owens either way, given that he has such a long track record of trouble at this point?

Develop Patrick Crayton? Seriously? Why bother with FredEx Jr.

I do like Miles Austin but I only see him as No. 3 Receiver AT BEST in his career.

It's like Owens just has nothing to do the 6 days in between games. I agree with Krioniq in that, once this has an effect on the actual game, I'll care. Would I rather he shut his mouth? Of course.
