Despite my being born in Fairfax VA and raised in Fredericksburg VA, I cheer for the Dallas Cowboys, mainly because I was a huge Emmitt Smith fan, but also because all the Redskins fans I knew at the time were idiots that I didn't want to associate myself with.

Cowboys loved them because my step dad hated them. Then I fell in love and for 30yrs I have been a fan.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, but I root for the Saints. Drew Brees and that explosive offense, plus the whole Hurrican Katrina thing and how amazing that 2006 season was, really turned me on to the team.

Never really had a full-on favorite football team. When I saw the Texans were a new franchise, I liked their logo, colors, stadium renderings, etc. Plus, I'm from Fresno, so when it became obvious that David Carr was going to be the first pick in the 2002 draft, I said "Hey, why not?"

7 years later, David Carr's gone, the Texans haven't done jack, and I've fully cemented myself as a Texans die-hard.

The Saints were the closest team around and my dad's favorite team. Plus I just love the city.

Born and raised in Phoenix and the Cards are the home team. I was actually one of the 5 Cardinals fans before this year's Super Bowl run. Stuck with them through the wonderful 4-12 and 5-11 days, listening to all the blacked out home games on the radio. Ah, good times.
