Wow...I wish you were kidding, but I'm assuming that you're not. I get it, Haley made Fitz into what he is today. Sorry dude, Fitz has been playing like that since the first day he stepped on the field.

Now Haley is going to win with Herm guys. I really think the Chiefs should've kept Herm around man. GMs aren't patient anymore.

Maybe the Fitz comment wasn't warranted but he only had one good season before Haley came to Arizona so there's a bit of truth there.

They helped make each other, period. It's not all coaching and it's not all the player...it's both.

What in THE hell are you talking about? Herm's guys? Wake up and smell the Chiefs' headdress..... it was getting pretty rank.

I may not have known who Haley was until the Boldin hissy fit, but even without that, I would have known him as the guy who outsmarted Jim Johnson. And if they move Gonzalez....and by chance he ends up in Eaglesville..... win/win for me.

Actually I did, I think this is more of a function of actually listening to commentary while watching football games but Troy Aikman was giving the man a verbal blowjob during the Cowboys game earlier in the year. Aikman basically said that Haley was a creative OC and would make a fantastic head coach for any team.

That being said, If I were KC i'd have gone and hired a coach with a defensive background. It'll be interesting to see who's hired as DC over there.

I was hoping they'd hire a defensive coach, and I'm still not sure how I feel about Haley. Just have to wait and see how things go.

At least it can't get much worse.

Re: Chiefs offer HC job to Todd Haley

He was also pretty high on the list of potential head coaches so the people that mattered knew who he was.

Yeah, and Fitz has been a beast since day one. You can pull up stat sheets and try to argue against it but anyone that's seen him play would tell you the same. Maybe people that were finally forced to watch a couple of Cards games since they went far in the playoffs are just now realizing how good he is but he didn't just break out this year.
