2K3 Franchise Mode

This is a quote from the IGN mini camp thing I just noticed. 2K3 only has a 10 year franchise mode?
How can it even compare to Madden in franchise mode depth with 20 years less. The young players won't even finish their careers by the end of the franchise. I was thinking of buying both games, but when you add this to the lack of multi-player in franchise mode I think I may just rent 2K3. At least 2K3 will make up for what it lacks in franchise mode with better commentary, ESPN license, more animations, and tight gameplay. However, I just don't see the same replay value as Madden. That is what is most important for me.
Anyone else think 2K3 had a longer Franchise mode, or is it just me?

Nfl 2k3 has 25 or more years in francise mode....ign is just doing thier little preview of what their Nfl would be like over the next 10 years but the francise length is much longer then that!!!!

I think I remember reading franchise mode in NFL 2k3 would be 30 years.

Good to hear that! I was hoping it was the same length as Madden's, because it really adds to the replay value.

I could see simming 30 years but who actually plays every game?
