Two-year deal for the 250 lb QB. I liked him in Pittsburgh, but I knew he wasn't going to re-sign.

He has some pretty nice weapons down in TB. Plus the fact that Carolina won't be able to get any sort of pass rush on him next year, he should do some damage to the Panthers.

Re: Byron Leftwich is a Buccaneer

I wanted Cutler.

But whatever. We go from a very agile Garcia to a very non-agile Leftwich.

I thought he'd stay a Steeler, but good luck to Byron. Always gotta root for the DC-area NFL players.

Re: Byron Leftwich is a Buccaneer

with the team in Tampa, I think its a good fit similar to what the Steelers had a run first offense and a solid defense. So Leftwhich is not going to be asked to throw like he did in his days as a Jag.

Still think he can be a starter. If it wasn't for his injury issues he'd probably still be a Jag. If he can somehow stay healthy he should do alright.

Re: Byron Leftwich is a Buccaneer

A nice pick up for the Bucs, He's was a guy I was hoping for in Chicago before we got Cutler.

A mystery to me why his stock even fell as far as it did in the first place.
