i highly doubt this actually bears fruit people do this to stars all the time, mainly to get money, or pubicly emberiess a star.

Forget the OJ case because too many individual biases exist too look at that clear headed. That's a case that was tried in the media.

But how does it make sense to be found innocent of a crime, but then still sued for it by a lesser court?

I love how every major news outlet except ESPN has reported this.

I realize that this is a whole 'nother bag of issues, but regardless whether this lawsuit holds weight in court or not, if it Associated Press reports it and NFL.com reports it then at the very least ESPN should feel obligated to put it on a ticker or on their website or something. But no, they need to protect the image of their golden boy.

Disclaimer: I've got nothing against Roethlisberger and I think he's a top three QB in the league; that is, unless these charges hold water, in which case I have that against him. I'm moreso mad at ESPN in this post.
