dont know where you get that from, maybe Chris Collinsworth

Jeff Fisher is the opinion that matters when it comes to that

Jeff Fisher [quote]: “I thought he played well. He had one opportunity where had he not handed the ball off and kept it himself he probably would’ve picked up a first down. But that is part of that offense. Other than that he made good decisions. He has someone in his face all three times we tried to get him on the edge, so he couldn’t square his feet.’’

Ramsey followed, working primarily with players well down the depth chart. The eighth-year pro was 8-of-10 for 72 yards and took a delay of game penalty.

“Patrick understands what we are doing. He is familiar with this offense, (because of his time in Denver with Dinger)’’ Fisher said. “We are talking about one preseason game. Vince is our two and Patrick is our three.’’
[end quote]

Fisher also stated that Young might get a chance to start a preseason game

I would love to see that.
It would be interesting. We havent yet seen Young play with Chris Johnson as well as the new WRs...and it would be easier for him to get to the edge with the first oline.

They might want to give Collins some rest also. They probably dont think the 15 year veteran needs 5 preseason games, so it would be good for both QBs

Didn't stop Kurt Warner from having a HOF career?

Re: Vince Young's bold predication

This past week, VY supposedly told Fisher to start him or release him now during a team meeting that got heated. No major sources, but its been confirmed on a couple of Titans message boards from some people who have inside contacts.
