Mike Vick/Dante Stallworth

Ok both of those players have been "Charged" by the law for there misbehavior that they have done outside of football...

Mike Vick was charged for interstate dog fighting. Here's a Article I saw bout it...

In July 2007, Vick and three other men were charged by federal authorities with felony charges of operating an unlawful six-year long interstate dog fighting venture known as "Bad Newz Kennels" at Vick's 15-acre property in Surry County, Virginia. Vick was accused of financing the operation, directly participating in dog fights and executions, and personally handling thousands of dollars in related gambling activities. Federal prosecutors indicated they intended to proceed under the powerful provisions of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), a United States federal law that provides for extended criminal penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization. The indictment ended any realistic chance of Vick taking the field for the 2007 season, as the terms of his bail barred him from leaving Virginia pending trial.

Michael Vick's Plea...

On August 24, Vick filed his plea documents with the federal court. He pled guilty to "Conspiracy to Travel in Interstate Commerce in Aid of Unlawful Activities and to Sponsor a Dog in an Animal Fighting Venture". In addition, he admitted to providing most of the financing for the operation itself, as well as participating directly in several dog fights in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina. He also admitted to sharing in the proceeds from these dog fights. He further admitted that he knew his colleagues killed several dogs who didn't perform well enough. However, while he admitted to providing most of the money for gambling on the fights, he denied placing any side bets on the dogfights. He also denied actually killing any dogs himself.

The Sentence...

On December 10, Vick appeared in U.S. District Court in Richmond for sentencing. Judge Hudson said he was "convinced that it was not a momentary lack of judgment" on Vick's part, and that Vick was a "full partner" in the dog fighting ring, and he was sentenced to serve 23 months in federal prison.

Vick also had to pay the Funds For the Dogs...

At the request of federal authorities before sentencing, Vick agreed to deposit nearly $1 million in an escrow account with attorneys for use to reimburse costs of caring for the confiscated dogs, most of which were being offered for adoption on a selective basis under supervision of a court-appointed specialist.

Dante Stallworth was charged for second degree manslaughter here is a article about it....

On the morning of March 14, 2009, a 2005 Bentley sedan driven by Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami Beach, Florida. Stallworth was headed toward the beach when he hit Mario Reyes, 59. Police initially investigated the accident further to see if charges against Stallworth would be warranted.
Stallworth admitted to drinking the night prior to the accident. According to early reports Stallworth was legally drunk at the time of the accident; news sources reported that his blood alcohol content was 0.12, over Florida's legal limit of 0.08. Stallworth claims that he flashed his car's headlights to warn Reyes before striking him. A Miami Beach police report said Reyes was not in a crosswalk on busy MacArthur Causeway when he was struck by the black 2005 Bentley Continental GT driven by Stallworth. Police estimated Stallworth was driving about 50 mph in a 40 mph zone. The construction crane operator was trying to catch a bus home after finishing his shift around 7:15 a.m.
Stallworth was charged with DUI and second degree manslaughter on April 1, 2009; he surrendered to police on April 2, 2009 and was released on $200,000 bail.He pleaded guilty, and received a sentence of 30 days in jail, plus 1,000 hours of community service, 2 years of house arrest, and 8 years probation. He has also received a life-time suspension of his Florida state driver's license.
On July 10, 2009, Stallworth was released from jail after serving 24 days of a 30-day sentence.
The Associated Press reported on June 16, 2009, that Stallworth and the Reyes family reached a financial agreement, avoiding a civil lawsuit. The amount of the settlement was not disclosed.
On June 18, 2009, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell stated that Stallworth would be suspended indefinitely after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter charges.

Both of those men committed horrible crimes but Mike Vick is still the one who is getting treated like "The Devil" an Dante Stallworth killed someone while intoxicated an he got a slap on the wrist for he basically PAID HIS WAY OUT! when "Stallworth and the Reyes family reached a financial agreement" that basically means he paid his *** out! Mike Vick did his time an he is still "Grounded" for Roger Goodell still has to week 6 to fully renstate him so that means Mike Vick still might not be able to play in the NFL again!
