Slightly OT: UFL team names, who came up with this stuff?

They're pretty bad. I think the "new" USFL will have a lot better names and unis etc. (esp since they're goping to allegedly resurrect the original franchises).

I think that in general the UFL has a good idea as far as being a conduit to the NFL (basically a step above the CFL) but they should learn from past history that competing directly with the post-merger NFL is suicidal.

They're not awful but they ain't great. With that, I'm sure the logos & looks of each team will evolve as the UFL progresses. The main purpose of the league is to have a uniform look in order to market it as a brand, then allow each franchise to put its imprint on their own teams if the league is successful.

My only major critiique for the helmets is the stripes down the middle. Some look okay, others are a little forced.
