Re: Monday Night Football: Bills @ Patriots

No miraculous upset tonight for the Bills. I may have said that one year ago, two years ago, three years ago...but not this year. I'm almost CONVINCED Dick Jauron will not surprise anyone in this game because that's the kind of coach he is.

Yes, we (almost) beat the Cowboys two years ago in a similar situation, but our offense handed the Cowboys the game after our defense played extraterrestrial football for 3.5 quarters. I'm not expecting an upset nor am I even expecting the Bills to "hang in there". I'm expecting a trouncing.

And yes, I'm a lifelong Bills fan. Honestly, we don't stand one chance in hell with Jauron at the helm. Patriots 52-21, and that's because I'm being awfully generous tonight.

Honestly, I woudln't be surprised to see a Bills win tonight. I have serious reservations about the Patriots secondary and I expect the Bills to score, I just expect the Patriots to score more. The Patriots have yet to lose a season opener in Gillette Stadium so there's a first time for everything.

I gotta be hopeful here, fellas. I've had my Bills t-shirt on all day. Later on, I'll throw the old Brian Moorman #8 jersey on, with a plate full of buffalo wings and a whole lotta hope in my heart. While I fully expect the Pats to win by 30, there's a reason they actually play the games.

Let's go, Buffalo!

Headed out to a friend's house to watch the game in a few, so wanted to just say good luck to all the Pats and Bills fans on this board.

Hopefully we see New England blow the Bills out by 30 a close game and hopefully no serious injuries (I'd like to have hope for the season for more than a drive this year).

I would rather have the bills win, if i had it my way the patriots would be 0-16 every year, but this year my fantasy team is built around the patriot offense. I have Brady,Moss,Welker, but welker just needs to good this game becuase im trading him away for someone called chris johnson, you guys heard of em?

Like with the Browns/Vikings game, I don't see a Buffalo upset but I hope it happens.
