Stretch play to the short side of the field?

Congrats...

The offense still cannot score, but at least you guys put one in the win column. There's no doubt that Washington has a defense.

So one could only imagine that IF the offense finds it's footing the Skins could be a deadly team.

I wish Zorn knew how to call plays inside the 20. 4 rushing plays in a row? Come on.

We really need an offensive coordinator

That is almost our entire issue. In four red zone trips, our quarterback threw three passes, at least one of which was dropped. Just terrible

Re: Week 2:St.Louis Rams @ Washington Redskins

Some thoughts:

It was nice to see JC have a good game. He was stepping up in the pocket, running the ball when he had the opportunity, and was making great passes. JC having a good game opened up the running game for Portis really well.

Cooley is looking awesome the first two games - hopefully this continues throughout the season. Malcolm Kelly looks like a tree next to Santana Moss, hopefully JC can get more passes to Kelly and Moss the rest of the season.

The Red Zone - WTF? Zorn was calling plays pretty good outside of the 20 yard line, but once they hit the red zone its like all he was looking at were rushing plays. JC looked good but his receivers just didn't come through on the handful of passes they actually called.

Defense looked good, but CBs are still playing too soft. No reason why the secondary should be 5 yards off a WR when the third down marker is only 3-4 yards away.

We need TDs next game, BAD.

Couldn't agree more. Sure TD's were dropped by Devin Thomas and Mike Sellers. Can someone please inform me why Mike Sellers wasn't in the backfield lead blocking for CP?.....

Jason needs help out there. WR's need to catch the ball. THe defensive secondar needs a lotof work. They gave up too many key third downs. In the end its a win,but Zorn really needs to work on his playcalling.

On the second 4th down play that we didn't convert, I was thinking a bootleg would be perfect the way the Rams defense was keying on CP.

Well, I missed the game due to going with the family. To see we only beat the Rams by 2. and didn't score any TD's kinda dissapoint me. Also nice to see the defense step up though.

Good to have a W too.
